The Orange were able to take advantage of Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger sitting the final 14 minutes of the first half with two fouls. Without Sullinger in the lineup, the Orange attacked the basket with much more success. Syracuse finished the first half with 14 points in the paint but were tied 29-29 despite Sullinger’s absence.
