The top-seeded Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes (24-6) and the No. 9 seed Wake Forest Demon Deacons (19-13) collide in the quarterfinals of the 2023 ACC Tournament on Thursday afternoon. On Monday, Wake Forest topped Syracuse 77-74 to advance. Miami has won four of the last five games against Wake Forest, including a 96-87 victory over the Demon Deacons on Feb. 18. The winner advances to the semifinals on Friday to face either Duke or Pitt.
