The College of Charleston Cougars and the Hofstra Pride are set to square off in a Colonial matchup at 7 p.m. ET Feb. 28 at Mack Sports Complex. Hofstra will be strutting in after a victory while the Cougars will be stumbling in from a defeat.

College of Charleston was just a bucket shy of a win this past Saturday and fell 80-79 to the Drexel Dragons. Guard Dimitrius Underwood put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 23 points and six assists in addition to seven boards.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Hofstra and the William & Mary Tribe this past Saturday was still a pretty decisive one as Hofstra wrapped it up with an 83-67 win at home. Four players on Hofstra scored in the double digits: guard Omar Silverio (20), guard Jalen Ray (19), guard Darlinstone Dubar (12), and guard Aaron Estrada (11).

The Cougars are expected to lose this next one by 5.5. They are currently four-for-four against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

It was close but no cigar for College of Charleston as they fell 76-73 to the Pride in the teams' previous meeting last month. Can College of Charleston avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
