Who's Playing

Western Michigan @ Buffalo

Current Records: Western Michigan 6-20; Buffalo 15-8

What to Know

The Western Michigan Broncos haven't won a contest against the Buffalo Bulls since Jan. 23 of 2016, but they'll be looking to end the drought Saturday. WMU and Buffalo will face off in a Mid-American battle at 4 p.m. ET at Alumni Arena. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.

Things were close when the Broncos and the Akron Zips clashed on Tuesday, but WMU ultimately edged out the opposition 61-57. WMU's guard Lamar Norman Jr. filled up the stat sheet, picking up 19 points along with seven boards.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the matchup between Buffalo and the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Thursday was still a pretty decisive one as the Bulls wrapped it up with an 83-69 win on the road.

WMU is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.

The Broncos are now 6-20 while Buffalo sits at 15-8. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: WMU is 31st worst in college basketball in points allowed per game, with 75.3 on average. Buffalo's offense has more to brag about, as they they enter the contest with 81.2 points per game on average, good for ninth best in college basketball. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
