Longwood knocks off the Apprentice School 95-46
FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) Szymon Zapala had 17 points in Longwood's 95-46 win against the Apprentice School on Thursday night.
Zapala added 13 rebounds for the Lancers (7-1). Walyn Napper scored 17 points while shooting 8 of 8 from the field, and added six assists. Saxby Sunderland had 10 points and was 4 of 7 shooting (2 for 5 from 3-point range). It was the seventh straight victory for the Lancers.
Karree Smith led the Builders in scoring, finishing with seven points. Angel Pacheco-Ortiz added six points. Avin Hawkins also had six points.
Longwood visits Morgan State in its next matchup on Sunday.
