LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Khalen Robinson's 24 points helped Arkansas-Little Rock defeat Texas State 71-66 on Monday night in the season opener for both teams.

Robinson added five steals for the Trojans. Deantoni Gordon scored 17 points and added eight rebounds. Jamir Chaplin was 5-of-10 shooting and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line to finish with 16 points, while adding six rebounds.

Josh O'Garro led the way for the Bobcats with 15 points and eight rebounds. Brandon Love added 13 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks for Texas State. Dontae Horne also had 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
