Canucks sign three players from AHL team to contracts

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Vancouver Canucks have signed forwards Tanner Glass and Guillaume Desbiens and defenseman Mike Funk.

Terms of the deals announced Wednesday were not disclosed.

Glass, 25, had four goals, nine assists and 100 penalty minutes in 44 games with Rochester of the AHL last season. He also had seven penalty minutes in three games with the Florida Panthers.

Funk, 22, had one goal and two assists in 13 games for Portland of the AHL last season. He has also totaled two assists in nine games over two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres.

Desbiens, 24, had 21 goals and 26 assists in 78 games with Manitoba of the AHL last season.
