GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Kristy Loiselle scored 16 points as No. 21 Wisconsin-Green Bay advanced to the Horizon League championship game for the eighth straight year by beating Loyola 70-52 Friday night.
The Phoenix will play Detroit in Sunday's final. Detroit (10-19) edged Cleveland State 75-74 in Friday's other semifinal.
Wisconsin-Green Bay has won four of the last five conference championships, including last year's 73-47 victory over Loyola in Chicago.
The Phoenix (26-3) extended their winning streak against the Ramblers (12-17) to 22 and beat a conference opponent for the 39th straight time.
Wisconsin-Green Bay led by nine points at halftime, then used a 14-6 run over the first 10 minutes of the second half to take control of the game 50-33. Tiffany Mor scored seven points in the burst and combined with Chandra Johnson to hold center Sarah Hamilton, Loyola's leading scorer, to two points.
Wisconsin-Green Bay increased its lead to 68-45 on Johnson's three-point play with 2:39 remaining. Ciara Henderson, who led Loyola with 19 points, hit her fifth 3-pointer to close the Ramblers to 68-52 with 1:29 left, but it was as close as they would come.
Johnson finished with 14 points, while Mor and Natalie Yudt each had 11 for the Phoenix.
Tracy Hoffman had 13 points and Meskhenet Lands 12 for the Ramblers.
Elizabeth Dudley swished two 3-pointers from the corner and Yudt had a three-point play and 3-pointer in a 14-4 run to give the Phoenix a 33-22 first-half lead.
But Henderson kept the Ramblers close by making four 24-foot 3-pointers in the opening half, and Tracy Hoffman's basket with 2 seconds left closed Loyola to 36-27 at intermission.
