Thunder hire assistant Adams, complete coaching staff

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Longtime NBA assistant Ron Adams has been hired to complete Oklahoma City Thunder interim coach Scott Brooks' staff.

Adams' hiring fills the vacancy created when Brooks was promoted to replace fired head coach P.J. Carlesimo.

Adams has served as an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks (1998-2003), Philadelphia 76ers (1994-96) and San Antonio Spurs (1992-94). He most recently was with the Chicago Bulls, serving as an assistant coach and then a special assignments scout.
