BOSTON -- In Game 2 of the NBA Finals there is a solid chance Kobe Bryant will drop kick the Boston Celtics so hard, Larry Bird's great, great grandfather will feel the pain.
I feel a Michael Jordan-like beat-down coming. The kind where Jordan used to hit big basket after big basket and shrug his shoulders as if to say, "I can't believe I just did that."

You know why? Bryant's ego is the size of Oprah's bank account.
And he's peeved. Hell hath no fury like a superstar egomaniac scorned.
Bryant has heard all the talk about how Boston shut him down in the opening game, a Lakers loss.
He has seen all the stories about how in three games against the Celtics this season he transformed into Geert Hammink.
He's mad as hell and he's not going to take it anymore, and it's only a matter of time before he opens a bag of crazy, inhales deeply and drops 45 points. That time, I think, is Game 2.
When asked if he was going to be bashful in taking some of the same shots in Game 2 that he missed in the opener, Bryant replied, "I would never be bashful, you know that. I get those again, I'm foaming at the mouth. I want those looks again."
Bryant was also asked what was it Boston does that makes his life so difficult. There was a smirk before the answer.
"Just making me a perimeter player in terms of being able to shoot the ball," he said. "Two games we played in the regular season, I shot the ball atrociously. In Game 1, I shot the ball bad, too. Hopefully it just means I'm due."
The "hopefully" part was clearly sarcastic.
At some point Bryant is going to break out and he knows this is the perfect time to do it.
