Padres cut 11 from spring camp: The Padres optioned LHP Wade LeBlanc, RHP Mike Ekstrom, RHP Cesar Carrillo and 2B Travis Denker to Triple-A Portland on Tuesday. Also, they optioned OF Luis Durango and RHP Jackson Quezada to Class A Lake Elsinore and reassigned RHPs Chris Britton and Matt Buschmann, C Mitch Canham, 3B Peter Ciofrone and OF Cedric Hunter to minor league camp.

Fantasy Analysis
Carrillo is an elite pitching prospect still working his way back from Tommy John elbow surgery, while LeBlanc is a former early round draftee who has yet to really establish himself as a viable major league starter. They are worthy of consideration as long-term keeper prospects. The rest of these players don't figure to impact the Padres or Fantasy leagues at this point and can be ignored on Draft Day.
