Cubs come to terms with their 2Bs: Jeff Baker and Mike Fontenot, the two players expected to platoon at second base for the Cubs this season, agreed to one-year deals on Tuesday, avoiding arbitration. The Cubs also avoided arbitration with C Koyie Hill, RP Angel Guzman and SP Tom Gorzelanny.

Fantasy Analysis
Fontenot and Baker both have above-average power for middle infielders, but neither has done much with everyday at-bats. Fontenot had his big chance last year, but blew it, which is why the Cubs brought in Baker in the first place. You can leave both for NL-only leagues. Hill, Guzman and Gorzelanny are just low-end NL-only options right now, though Gorzelanny could gain value if he wins a rotation spot this spring.
