Cueto finishes season at .500: Johnny Cueto had one last shot at finishing .500. Joey Votto and Scott Rolen got him there. Votto homered and drove in three runs and Rolen homered as the Reds took advantage of Zach Duke's control problems for an 8-4 win over the Pirates on Saturday night. Cueto (11-11) rebounded from a rough first inning to get the win in his last start of the season. He allowed five hits and four runs with four walks and six strikeouts in six innings.

Fantasy Analysis
Cueto won two of his last three starts to close out the season, finishing at 11-11 with a 4.41 ERA. Cueto has great stuff but continued to have a tough time harnessing it in the 2009 season. Cueto closed out the season pretty well but should only be considered a No. 5 or No. 6 Fantasy SP on Draft Day next season.
