Detwiler impressive in final start: Washington SP Ross Detwiler pitched extremely well on Saturday against the Braves in his final start of the season. Unfortunately, he could only get a no decision. Detwiler (1-6) did not give up a run and allowed only one base hit and four walks in five innings but his bullpen coughed up his lead. He struck out one and his ERA finishes at 5.00 even on the season.

Detwiler finished very impressively as he went 1-0 over his last two starts and allowed only one earned run on eight hits over 11 innings. He could eventually become a viable Fantasy option, but he still has a ways to go, especially since he pitches for one of the worst teams in baseball. He'll be just an NL-only option entering 2010.
