Gallardo wins final start of season: Brewers SP Yovani Gallardo (13-12) blanked the Astros over five innings Sunday as he made his last start of the season before being shut down. Gallardo allowed three hits, struck out seven and walked three.

Gallardo became the fourth Milwaukee pitcher with 200 strikeouts in a season and first since Ben Sheets' 264 in 2004 when Houston SP Felipe Paulino was caught looking in the third. He pitched 185 2/3 innings in his first full year of action after missing most of last season with separate knee injuries. Gallardo is an excellent keeper choice and will likely enter 2010 as a No. 2 Fantasy SP.
