	He obviously made the right call... the Patriots offense had been eviscerating the Colts defense all game long. So much so, this really could have/should have been a 35 point lead in the 4th quarter. Brady takes them right down the field coming out of the half and gets picked in the end zone on a ball that would have been a TD if it was a foot to the left.... Then Maroney fumbles on the goalline costing them another TD... Add that in with coming up just short in the red zone in the 1st half and the Patriots left another 18 points on the board. Instead of only being up 17 in the 4th, it could have easily been 35... The Patriots abused the Colts defense all game long. To not expect to get 2 yards on them to win the game is senseless... You wanna talk about playing the percentages.... I think that's exactly what Bill was doing... He made the right call... I stand by it... I agreed with it when he did it.. I agree with it now... There are a handful of reasons why they lost this game... going for it on 4th and 2 is not one of them.. The Patriots showed last night that they are clearly the better team...

	Hey, the better team doesn't always win... The Patriots were way better than the Giants in 07, but when the right set of circumstances happens, flukes are possible. In 2006 when the Patriots beat the Chargers in the playoffs, the Pats were really banged up and had nothing for WRs and the Chargers should have beaten them... They were much more talented... But Troy Brown made a all time great play and the Pats stole that one... Matt Serra knocked out Georges St. Pierre... Team USA beat Russia in the Olympics 30 years ago.. The 05 Steelers beat the Colts in the playoffs because Ben Roethlisberger tackled a DB with one hand on his foot.. The 04 Steelers kept the Patriots from going 18-0 because Corey Dillon, Deion Branch, Richard Seymour and a handful of other starters all missed that one game due to injury. The better team doesn't always win.. Fortunately, this wasn't the playoffs and the Patriots still have the inside track to a first round bye. In 9 career trips to the playoffs, Manning and the Colts have been one and done 6 times... The odds are great that they're going to stumble out of the playoffs before Brady and the Pats ever have to come back there... it's a frustrating loss because the Pats easily could have been up 35 points in the 4th quarter... And they kept giving the Colts chances to stay in the game... But anyone who watched the game saw that the Colts defense has nothing for Brady and his receivers...

	they stopped Manning a whole lot more than the Colts stopped Brady... Like I said, that game was awfully close to being a 35 point lead in the 4th quarter..

	Snoogins, time to wring out that crying towel....it is saturated. Love watching BB's favorite guy, Rodney Harrison saying what a horrible decision it was. Bruschi too. I like most Pats fans on here, but I have to laugh at you. Suck it up. Funny, you couldn't beat a team that has been riddled with injuries. Clearly, the better team won. But I would love to see a rematch...In Indy ofcourse.

	I have no problem with Belichick's call on 4th down. Three quick scores by the Colts had the Patriots defense rattled and Belichick was clearly playing the best odds, as he saw them. Now, I'm a Colts fan, of course, and clearly delighted with the win, but I won't disrespect the Patriots or their coach. They played a helluva game; they just came up a bit short at the end. As far as all the whining from Pats fans about the refs giving the game to the Colts...please! If Maroney doesn't fumble the ball away at the goal line and Brady doesn't throw an INT in the endzone, the Pats are up by 14 more points and the game is over. BUT, Pats fumble and throw INT at critical points in the game. If the Pats save their timeouts, they could have challenged the 4th down call. I don't think there is any way it would have been overturned, but at least they could have had a review to find out. BUT, the Pats use all their timeouts too soon. If Brady hits a wide open Wes Welker on 3rd down, the Pats move the chains and the game is over. BUT, Brady misses wide open Welker. If Brady puts his pass to Faulk on the money, the Pats move the chains and the game is over. BUT, Brady throws it high and outside, causing Faulk to bobble the catch. Peyton Manning certainly didn't have the best game of his career tonight, but he was lights out in the fourth quarter when it counted. Brady was lights out for 3.5 quarters, then couldn't quite get it done at the end. I've seen the other side of that coin enough during this rivalry to realize that most every Colts/Patriots game is going to be a toss-up. It may be different next time; it may not. But tonight the Colts won and that's all that matters. Game. Set. Match.

I guess you seem to forget that the Colts had plenty of dropped passes that allowed the Pats to get the lead they had. Stop making excuses. Better teams don't let inferior teams get back in the game. It's that simple.

	pats had the game won they lost it, the better team manned up and took advantage it hapens we know the 09 pats can hang with a 9-0 Colts team and jim, never speak of injuries etc. its football. it is what it is. the roster is what it is week to week look at the 08 pats besides, our D is mostly rookies at key positions...it is what it is
