I've been a little preoccupied with the #1 footbal Florida Gators, but our NCAA Tournament run starts today against Stetson.  Some new faces, stronger SOS and a hungry coach will equal their the 1st NCAA tournament appearance in 2 years.  I think.

Looking at their schedule, I predict:

11-3 non-conference10-6 SEC
2 conference tournament wins

23-9 overall record

#8 seed
Sweet Sixteen

eh those could be to high of goals for us this year, i do think we make the NCAA, but maybe as an 11 or 12 seed

You're probably correct with the record I predicted.  #8 seed would be too high.  Let's get some more predictions:

Non-conference record (14 games)
SEC record (16 games)
SEC Tournamnet
NCAA bid?

hmmm i honestly think we can go 12-2 in our out of conference games, our only losses coming to Michigan State and Xavier.                   In conference, i think we go maybe 10-6, and get to maybe the 2nd or 3rd round of the SEC tournament

I see an 12-3(there's actually 15 non-con games as their is a consolation/championship game in Atlantic city) non conference schedule with the loses coming early as this team finds itself.  A lose to Michigan State and two loses between Syracuse, FSU, Richmond or UMass will serve as building blocks for this young team.  I think this team will handle Xavier late in the SEC schedule which will serve as the quality win needed to get an NCAA berth.

As far as the SEC schedule, I don't think we'll have much luck against Kentucky.  I think we split home and home against Tenn, and probably lose both @Alabama and @Ole Miss.  Two wins in the SEC Tourney yeilds a conference record of 13-6 

Quality wins against Big Dance teams: Xavier, Tenn, Mississippi St, and Syracuse  get us in the tourney as a 8/9 seed and an embarrasing 2nd round lose to a 1 seed.

I really think this team will look better and better as the season goes on and 9 loses heading into the the Tourney will actually be a succesful season.

yea i think this team will continue to improve as well, the offense will be more balanced this year. We should make the NCAA tourny this year, id like to see a sweet 16 birth but i doubt it will happen, but atleast we will hopefully be getting back on track
