#94....Raiders Report Card Week #7

Posted on: October 26, 2009 3:15 pm
Edited on: October 26, 2009 4:58 pm
Score: 156

The following was filmed before a live studio audience in lovely downtown Burbank.....

Welcome to Guess that Grade! I'm your host Wink Woolery and today we're going to get our guess on as we try and figure out which Raider got which grade.

So join me won't you as we Guess that Grade!

Which of the following got a F ?

(A) Quarterbacks    (B) Defensive Line     (C) Receivers     (D) All of the above

(music plays....)

And the correct answer is D all of the above

JaMarcus Russell had two picks and a fumble before being pulled in favor of Bruce Gradkowski.

The defensive line got no pressure on Mark Sanchez and gave up 316(!) yards rushing.

Darrius Heyward-Bey had a career day with 2 catches which gives him 4 for the year and now means we can't use the "he has more names than catches" joke for the rest of the season.

Which of the following got a D ?

(A) Offensive Line     (B) Linebackers     (C) Coaches     (D) All of the above

(music plays....)

And the correct answer is D all of the above

The line has had injury problems all year but the Raiders running backs had few holes opened for them and Calvin Pace had 3 sacks.

Did I mention the Raiders gave up 316 yards rushing this goes against the linebackers as well as the defensive line.

Tom Cable didn't have his players ready to play once again. Hey what happened to all those blitzes defensive cordinator John Marshall called last week?

Which of the following got a C ?

(music plays....)

(A) Running Backs     (B) Secondary    (C) Special Teams     (D) All of the above

And the correct  answer is D all of the above

Justin Fargas had 67 yards on 8 carries and is making his case for more playing time. Michael Bush had only 25 yards and never seemed to get it going.

The Jets didn't pass much so the secondary mostly just made tackles on the runs that the defensive line and linebackers missed. Chris Johnson got beat a couple of times which is par for the course.

The Jets had a successful fake punt run and the return game didn't do much. Shane Lechler continues to show he's the best player on the the team (never a good sign when the punter is team MVP).

Which of the following got a B or an A....

(A) You     (B) must     (C) be     (D) joking

(music plays....)

And the correct answer is nobody

Thanks for playing Guess that Grade! our winners receive a season long blackout of all upcoming Raiders games. Remember to spay and neuter all your pets and please do the right thing and don't turn your children into Raider fans as it will only lead to a lifetime of pain.
