Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Out again Tuesday
Holmes (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves. Holmes will miss a seventh straight game due to a left big toe contusion. Marvin Bagley (knee) and Tristan Vukcevic (knee) are also out, so Anthony Gill, Eugene Omoruyi and Patrick Baldwin are candidates for increased roles. Holmes has only two chances left to suit up this season -- Friday versus Chicago and Sunday in Boston.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Iffy for Tuesday
Holmes (toe) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves. Holmes has missed six straight games due to a left big toe contusion. Marvin Bagley (knee) remains out, while Tristan Vukcevic (knee) is questionable, so Washington's frontcourt may be extremely shorthanded versus Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Won't play Sunday
Holmes (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Toronto. Holmes will miss his sixth straight game due to a left big toe contusion, though he's now been listed as questionable ahead of each of the last five contests and doesn't appear to have been shut down for the season. Nonetheless, with Holmes and Marvin Bagley (knee) both sidelined Sunday, rookie Tristan Vukcevic should pick up another start at center.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Questionable against Raptors

Holmes (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers. Holmes was questionable for Friday's matchup, and he'll be forced to miss a fifth consecutive game due to a left big toe contusion. Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Questionable for Friday
Holmes (toe) is questionable for Friday's game versus Portland. Holmes has missed the past four games due to a bruised big toe on his left foot, and that number could hit five Friday night. If he's forced to spend another game watching from the sidelines, Tristan Vukcevic and Eugene Omoruyi will continue to split Holmes' minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Won't play Wednesday
Holmes (toe) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports. Holmes will be sidelined for a fourth consecutive game Wednesday, with Marvin Bagley also set to join him in street clothes after spraining his knee in Tuesday's win over the Bucks. Given Bagley's injury looks to be a season-ending one, Holmes could have an opportunity to reclaim a starting role at center, but he'll first have to move past a sprained left big toe. Look for Tristan Vukcevic, Anthony Gill and Eugene Omoruyi to cover most of the minutes at center Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Questionable for Wednesday
Holmes (toe) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers. Holmes is in danger of missing a fourth straight game due to a left toe contusion. If he remains out Tuesday, Marvin Bagley will likely continue to see increased run.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Officially out Sunday
Holmes (toe) won't play in Sunday's game against Miami. Holmes will miss his second consecutive game due to a bruised left toe. Marvin Bagley delivered 15 points and 11 rebounds in 27 minutes while stepping into the starting five in place of Holmes in Friday's 96-87 loss to Detroit and should be in store for elevated playing time once again Sunday.... Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Double-double in Chicago
Holmes recorded 14 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 107-105 victory over the Bulls. The veteran big has started six straight games since returning from a toe injury March 16, and his production -- particularly on the glass -- has grown nearly with each contest. Holmes has ripped down at least 14 boards in three straight games, and over the last four he has averaged 11.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. Marvin Bagley returned from his own back injury Saturday but has been on a minutes restriction the last two games, playing just 17 minutes Monday, and given Holmes' current form he may not give up the starting role easily.... Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Huge night on glass
Holmes ended Thursday's 109-102 win over Sacramento with six points (2-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and one block across 29 minutes. The 30-year-old center has averaged 9.4 points, 8.8 boards, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks in 27.2 minutes per contest while getting the start in his last five games, and he should retain that role and workload until Marvin Bagley (back) can suit up again....
