GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Wisconsin-Green Bay, led by Terry Parker with 16 points, beat Minnesota-Duluth 78-67 on Saturday night.
Parker, Green Bay's leading scorer this season, was shut out in the first half but came back to hit 6 of 8 shots from the floor in the second half as the Phoenix (4-4) held on to win.
Dusty Decker led Minnesota-Duluth with 18 points, including 12 in the first half.
The Bulldogs (5-4) trailed 37-28 at halftime, but a five-point run to open the second half cut the deficit to 37-33.
However, the Phoenix outscored Minnesota-Duluth 25-7 over the next 10 minutes, and the Bulldogs never got close again.
Wisconsin-Green Bay ended the Bulldogs' five-game winning streak, while Green Bay won its second straight game.
Kevin Hughes came off the bench to score 14 points for the Phoenix and Matt Rohde added 10 points for Green Bay.
John Emerson scored 10 points, all in the second half, for the Bulldogs.
Both teams were hampered by sloppy ball-handling, as Green Bay had 20 turnovers and Duluth 21.
The Phoenix got 17 points on free throws, going 17 of 31 from the line, while Duluth made 6 of 15. Duluth was called for 30 fouls and Green Bay 20.
